Reviews Tale is a product review and lifestyle content website operating at reviewstale.com. We cover categories ranging from beauty and fashion to sports, tech, home living, and beyond. Our content is built around honest opinions and practical recommendations — that's the whole point of this site.
What Information We Collect
Things You Give Us Directly
There are a few situations where you might hand us your information voluntarily:
- Signing up for our email newsletter — we store your name and email address
- Leaving a comment on an article — we collect your name, email, and whatever you write
- Filling out our contact form — your name, email, and message are stored temporarily
- Submitting a guest post pitch or writing application
We don't ask for anything we don't need. No phone numbers, no payment details, no date of birth.

Data That Comes Through Affiliate Networks
Reviews Tale earns money through affiliate marketing. We work with two major affiliate networks — Impact and Awin — and both platforms use cookies to track whether a purchase was made after someone clicked a link on our site.
When you click an affiliate link on Reviews Tale, a small tracking cookie gets placed in your browser. That cookie tells Impact or Awin that the click came from us, so we get credited if you go on to buy something. The cookie doesn't collect your name or payment details — it's just a referral identifier.

Why We Use Your Information
The data we collect gets used for a handful of specific things:
- Sending newsletters to people who signed up for them (and only those people)
- Replying to messages sent through our contact form
- Understanding which articles are useful and which ones aren't, so we can improve
- Tracking affiliate link performance through Impact and Awin so we know our recommendations are working
- Keeping the site secure and identifying unusual traffic patterns
We don't use your data to build advertising profiles or sell to other companies. That's not our business model.
Cookies

Do We Share Your Data?
The short answer is: not really, and never for profit.
The only situations where your data goes anywhere are:
- Affiliate networks — Impact and Awin receive click and conversion signals as part of normal affiliate operations
- Email service providers — if you've subscribed to our newsletter, your email is stored with our mailing platform
- Legal requirements — if a court or government authority requires us to hand over data, we comply with the law
- Business changes — if Reviews Tale were ever acquired or merged with another company, data would transfer as part of that process
We don't sell email lists. We don't sell browsing data. We don't share anything with advertisers beyond the affiliate click signals that Impact and Awin handle automatically.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you have certain rights over your personal data. These include the right to see what we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to withdraw your consent for newsletter emails at any time. Every newsletter we send has an unsubscribe link — use it whenever you want.
